Menthol marketing in LA: A challenge to health equity

A study in Preventing Chronic Disease found a disproportionate number of ads and price promotions for menthol cigarettes in stores located in predominantly Black neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Tobacco, alcohol sales increase during pandemic

Many vape shops didn’t comply with COVID closure orders
